More Gun Control?

My wife +Zoe Woodward and I were at the Miami airport waiting for our flight home to Salt Lake City. One of our Sons +Zach Woodward  called and told us what had happened. Once again we were saddened to hear about the children and staff that were killed in Sandy Hook Elementary School. My heart was broken, innocent prospective children; one or more of them could have been someone of prominence.
In the next few days I watch the news to hear most of the stories about this tragic event.
Demands for additional firearm controls are terrifying to me and many more people.
I believe that just like every Airline Pilot in the sky has a gun to protect hundreds of passengers.
At least one person at every school needs to have a gun.
Or a Rookie Police Officer should be at every school.
I do not have any guns, I didn't want one in my house with young children, and today my sons are grown men. Now I don't feel the need for a gun. I plan obtaining guns when the laws are passed to take them away.
What is it about Citizens of this the Greatest Country in the world?
It is not American to want more gun control.
Demanding the remove of legal guns out of reach of law abiding citizens is not the answer.
Remove criminal arms away from criminal’s enterprises and criminal persons.
Wikipedia:
This is a right to protect ourselves from a Oppressive Government commencing on Tyrannical control of the people.
This right is "to bear arms" this means we should have same arms as the Army.
